Meet MMG’s newest signee.
Talk about a come up. Not too long ago rapper Isa Muhammad was homeless, but that all changed when a video of him spitting a two minute freestyle for Rick Ross at Venice Beach went viral, gaining over two million views. Soon after the video circulated the internet it was announced that Isa was MMG’s newest signee. So today we receive Isa’s first video under MMG titled “Chemtrails & Muslim Wars.” In the video Isa takes us through the city of Inglewood as he hangs out with his crew.
Rick Ross shared this statement about Isa in a press release:
“This was something that I wasn’t expecting. This kid gave me his heart when he was spitting and the internet got a hold of the video I put up on my snapchat. I wanted to give an opportunity for someone else to be put on – I know so many people in his same position. MMG is about giving back and pushing the culture forward by finding new and real talent. Isa Muhammad will reflect quality rap music and MMG is going to make sure of that.”
We at HGR wish Isa all the best as he enters this new chapter of his life. He’s reportedly gearing up for his debut album and will release a few loosies in the meantime. Also, Isa shared his excitement for his new journey in an Instagram video. Watch and listen below.
