According to a source that informed DailyMail.com, there is speculation about a potential unveiling date for the statue. Scheduled for August 8, 2024, a beautiful date that combines his iconic jersey numbers, 8 and 24, reflecting the profound impact he left on the basketball world. 

While team representatives did not promptly respond to Mail Sport’s verification request, fans appear to concur that the suggested date aligns fittingly with the tribute’s essence.

This tentative tribute scheduled for 8/8/24 could capture the essence of Kobe’s legacy and his extraordinary contributions to the game.

The upcoming Kobe Bryant statue outside LA’s Crypto.com Arena will incorporate both Kobe and his beloved daughter Gigi, as a heartfelt tribute to their shared legacy after their tragic passing.

On “Kobe Day,” Vanessa Bryant officially confirmed today that the long-awaited Kobe Bryant statue will be unveiled on 2.8.2024, putting an end to all the speculation about its arrival.
