Ol’ Dirty Bastard Documentary “A Tale of Two Dirties” To Premiere At The Apollo Theater In New York As A Celebration of Hip-Hop’s 50th Anniversary

Fans of Wu-Tang Clan and Ol’ Dirty Bastard will be happy to learn that a documentary about the late rapper will be premiering in a free event this Saturday Aug. 12 at the Apollo Theater in New York as part of the theater’s celebration of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. 

The documentary titled, ​​ODB: A Tale Of Two Dirtys, is the first-ever feature of its kind about the Wu-Tang Clan founding member. Composed of never-before-seen footage, the documentary aims to provide an “intimate picture of ODB’s life” and “his lasting impact on music and culture.”

The Apollo Theater will also host a panel that will provide even more insight into ODB’s life, the music industry, and the making of the documentary. According to the theater, the panel will include “never-before-seen outtakes, home videos and personal photos—and firsthand accounts from ODB’s family, business managers and the film’s producers.” 

The first 50 people who attend the premiere will be able to walk away with a special-edition vinyl of Wu-Tang Clan’s debut album Return To 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version
