Cardi B’s Megan Thee Stallion-assisted “WAP” officially hit double platinum status in less than a month.
The Recording Industry Association of America congratulated the two artists for pulling off a rare feat: going platinum in the same month as the song’s release.
According to the RIAA, “WAP” was officially certified platinum on August 26. The track dropped on August 7 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
