It’s no surprise that Hit-Boy is kicking off the year with new singles and collaboration. This time around, the rapper and producer teamed up with British rapper Avelino for “2 Certified.”
Avelino begins the track with, “I told Hit-Boy he needs to rap more,” and that’s exactly what he does on this track. The two artists go bar to bar on a fun-like beat while taking it back to their roots on where they each come from and express how they’re changing the narrative for others now.
The visual for “2 Certified” was also released and showcases Avelino and Hit-Boy speaking at a press conference and includes several different interviews.
