Following the success of their joint album Rosecrans earning the #1 spot on iTunes, Problem and DJ Quik drop the first official video from their project. The Joseph Kindred directed video features clips of the two Compton natives working in the studio and performing hits on stage. The smooth anthem “A New Nite” is a hodgepodge of DJ Quik’s “Tonite” record released in 1991, as he explains in the video’s opening. DJ Quik recently revealed that he’s also working on new music with fellow O.G. Suga Free. We love when legends get back in the game! And being that DJ Quik & Suga Free have given us some great music in the past, we have no doubt they’ll muster up some fire new tracks. Until then, watch Problem and Quik’s new video below.
