A true creative who raps, produces, and directs his own music videos, San Diego-via-Spanish Harlem artist Joey Trap is one of rap’s secret rising stars.
Today, the 21-year-old artist announces the upcoming CHAMP EP, his third project of 2020.
Spanning 11-tracks, the new tape showcases Joey’s diverse taste in production–he likes echoing 808s, plinking percussion, and earworm-y guitar lines.
The follow-up to January’s pastoral Wild West and February’s hyper-aggressive STFU, CHAMP EP is set to be released on Friday, March 27th.
