Today, Bay Area firebrand LaRussell revealed that he’s donating some of the proceeds from his upcoming album, Something’s in the Water, to the local community. After NBA star Kyrie Irving purchased his project for a record-breaking $11,001, LaRussell pledged that he would pay it forward the best he knows how: giving it all away.

The Good Compenny founder has teamed up with fan-powered music platform EVEN to contribute $11,001 to cover expenses for his supporters this month. To qualify for the Community Relief Fund, participants are required to fill out the form linked HERE with your information and assistance needs. The recipients will be randomly selected on Monday, January 12, 2026. There are no conditions to meet in order to receive the funds.

Ahead of his upcoming album, in true LaRussell fashion, he provided fans with early access to his music by partnering with EVEN to let his supporters name their price for the project. To break the news, LaRussell kicked off a month-long streamthon, aptly titled the LaRussellthon, live from his Vallejo backyard as he brings fans in on his latest artistic milestone: independently selling 100,000 copies of Something’s in the Water in 30 days.
