“Everything Black” is probably one of, if not the realest song that League and 2Two Time have composed so far in their discography. The song was created in 2020 during the making of Buddha League 2, which is expected to drop later this year.
The record was heavily inspired by the George Floyd murder & everything that transpired in our communities during that time; It really gave us a different perspective on being parents in today’s generation. The record originally had just two verses on the song before reaching out to Dreamville- affiliate Correy C (FREE CORREY!). We loved the intentional rap verses on the record, but felt that Correy could really bring it home with his infectious energy.
