With just two months left in 2022, our favorite artists are flooding music platforms with enough new releases to carry our playlists into the new year and beyond.
With that being said, it’s no surprise that our boy Sham1016 hit us with another banger from his rap clip, reminding us that being real produces longevity and credibility mixed with authenticity always triumphs over being popular.
In his new single, ‘Get A Grip’, Sham addresses the people around him, calling them out on their lack of self love and their obsession with portraying who they truly aren’t. He can see right through all the women and men that come and go around him; they’re “real” for themselves, making money and handling their own desires, but ultimately they’re not completely satisfied with themselves and it shows through how they maneuver in various circles as well as the company they keep.
“I guess God woke me up today to sh*t on these ni**as, free blessed me with the game to go big on these b*tches. You talk before you think like why can’t you listen? love popping fake sh*t, but you go play the victim.”
West Coast favorites like rapper LA Wray (@LA__Wray) and producers Nick Banga (@nickxbanga) and TC (@soundsliketc) gave the emcee his well deserved props by quoting some of his lyrics and showing their appreciation for the track overall. We can’t wait to hear what’s coming next!
