New chapter, new music.
Tunji Ige celebrated his 23rd birthday by gifting fans with new music. Instead of doing a regular rollout for the single, Tunji decided to deliver it direct to his fans. He shared the following message with the release, explaining the significance of “Roll Out”‘ :
“Looking back on the past year I don’t regret a thing I took time to develop my sound, my biz and my life with out being a slave to perception or social influence. Cut ties with people whom I no longer got anything thing against and learned the music industry the hard way trail and error. Only gives me more to write about and develop. I legit can do anything I want to do and I know it at this age exactly where I’m gonna take it. I want to thank all my fans and friends loved ones for motivating me and checking in, when I knew 22 was going to be a reflection and reset from the madness and now I’m ready to free this energy in my art into the world, new chapters new auras new meridians new vibes all lol. I say all that to say this is not conventional art. my work my life is reflection of my existence and instead of withering away and being forgotten or moving to la and becoming burnt out, I know this is really just the start. there’s a lot of people in this for the look and for the theatrics or validation from people who are scared of them. I once was but that didn’t fulfill me and I found out this past year. I’m so blessed to be alive and through everything the smile and my spirit in tact I’m reloaded.
