Zacari has been in the studio laying down tracks and his latest collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign in “Ave Maria” showcases it.
The singer and songwriter teamed up with R&B hit-maker, Ty Dolla $ign, who is known for songs like “Or Nah,” and “By Yourself,” to create a track we didn’t know we needed.
The two talented, soulful artists compliment each other’s flow in “Ave Maria,” as Zacari melodically begins the track with more than just a religious reflection, but a life reflection of choices.
He sings, “Before I lay me down to sleep/Pray my soul to keep/And if I die before I wake/What will I take to the grave?/Debts I never paid/Confessions never made.”
Ty Dolla $ign follows in as the beat drops with his hip-hop flow and recognizable voice focusing on his vices.
He raps, “How could I be so sinful?/Slidin’ in that Avis, boy, we know you in a rental/How could I spеak such blasphemy? I know these drugs arе bad for me/Rock star only half of me.”
