Nipsey Hussle’s family is keeping his legacy alive.
The family just opened a licensed weed store in Los Angeles called “The Marathon Collective.” A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the store took place this past weekend (June 18) in Canoga Park.
“Marijuana, a lot of times people were going to jail,” Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom told Los Angeles’ CBS News. “Once it started legitimizing, it was a goal… We got to get into this legitimately.”
Black Sam says his brother was a self describe marijuana connoisseurs. “This is something that Hussle wanted — that we wanted. I’m just happy to be able to open it up.”
He mentioned how opening the store “was good for the whole family.”
