Last week 03 Greedo made headlines for his comments about Tupac Shakur. He in a Billboard interview he was quoted as calling him “a bitch ass.”
He joined Genius for the 2nd episode of our new show “For The Record” and explained his comments towards the late-great Tupac.
“You want me to pay homage, I don’t have to,” the Los Angeles rapper told Genius’ Rob Markman. “Yeah, I like “I Ain’t Mad at Cha,” I like “Changes,” I like certain songs, sh*t. But like I said, I like Frank Ocean music. I like a song by Charles Hamilton. I might like some Raphael Saadiq. It don’t matter, bro. It don’t mean I rock with them bro.”
Greedo has built a reputation for his candidness, especially when discussing his difficult upbringing of homelessness, violence, and an ear infection that resulted in partial deafness.
