Although he resides in Inglewood, producer Meez takes us elsewhere with his Insomnia Tape EP. The mastermind behind Cozz’s “Dreams,” and Mani Coolin’s “Free Your Mind,” let loose a 5-track compilation laced with a dark aura. Led by slow hard-knocking drums and experimental synths, this project soundly captures the feel of insomnia and late night thoughts.
