The quality of the hit makes up for lost time, as the five minutes skillfully bring the rappers back from hibernation. The single will be part of their upcoming album titled First Baptist, but for now, the “Take Me Back” MCs take us back to life before the realm of music for them.
The lyrics elevates the story, spitting lines like “real talk was five deep in a KIA, bustin’ rhymes in a freezing cold whip with no heater.”
