“Don’t Come to LA” is a monthly party from POW and Rosecrans Avenue, founded on the principle that this is the new Golden Age of LA rap. It features some of the fresh, new and captivating rappers, DJs, and producers from Los Angeles.

This past Thursday (June 28), Rosecrans Avenue hosted it’s third showcase with Pasadena native Dam-Funk, 1 Take Jay, Nocando, Jay Worthy, Airplane James and Cypress Moreno. The past previous “Don’t Come TO LA” have featured Warm Brew, Niko G4, Pimp Pimp P, and many more.
According to event organizer and creator of Rosecrans Ave, Rosecrans Vic, “Don’t Come To LA” was created in mind for “L.A. artists to have a platform and perform monthly in front of their fans”. He also believes we have a “fresh new wave in Los Angeles with so much talent,” which is why “Don’t Come To LA” was “prefect timing”.
