Blxst Is Paving His Way Through The West Coast With New EP “No Love Lost” (Review)

Blxst has been putting in the work to place himself amongst the elites in Hip-Hop. Having to work with notable artists such as Kendrick Lamar and YG, the Los Angeles singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer is marking his territory on the West.

In 2019, he linked up with Bino Rideaux for the EP, “Sixtape” and earlier this year, he teamed up with Sacramento’s own Mozzy for “I Ain’t Perfect” and also delivered back to back visuals for his EP tracks “No Love Lost,” “Overrated,” and “Forever Humble.”

Today, the rising talent has debuted his highly anticipated debut EP, No Love Lost. No Love Lost is an emotive collection of music, inspired by past relationships and his hometown of Los Angeles. The project is without a doubt West Coast vibes that is perfect for any occasion.

“This EP was inspired by the challenges I face as an upcoming artist, dealing with the pressures of separation for elevation,” Blxst said of the release of the project. “Being that music is my therapy, I wanted to get this off my chest, no love lost… no hard feelings.”

No Love Lost features eight perfectly well-crafted tracks. While the production on each track is filled with up-tempo beats as Blxst charismatically sings and raps.

It’s no secret that the talented musician has become one of my personal favorites over the past few months. And in my opinion, Blxst’s No Love Lost is a fine introduction for anyone who is unaware of his work. He delivers a little something for everyone to listen to.
