RJmrLA Shuts Down The Novo In DTLA For His “Rodney Brown Jr” Album Release Show (Recap)

There’s no stopping South Central LA’s RJmrLA!

RJ recently dropped his sophomore album Rodney Brown Jr. To celebrate the project, he had an album release show at The Novo in downtown Los Angeles where he brought all the West Coast vibes. Filled with a two-hour performance, our very own DJ Hed introduced RJ as he got ready to hit the stage.

Once RJ touched the Novo stage, he performed some of his older music as well as his new music. He also had special guests which included O.T Genasis, Jayson Cash, Symba, A.D, Rucci, Joe Moses and Wallie The Sensei.

And as if the guest appearances weren’t enough, the concert also had another special moment which included RJ paying tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle.

RJ previously shared the meaning behind his sophomore album Rodney Brown Jr. He said:

“This album is literally a transparent introduction of who I am outside of being an artist. I wanted people to really know me hence why it is self-titled after my government name. I took my time with this and didn’t want to just release music because people felt it was time. The new music needed to be right. It needed to be me.”
