The current state of the music industry is one that many people can respect. Throughout the years, weā€™ve seen how much music has changed. Itā€™s evolved, allowing us to fall in love with different artists and their music. These artists are often inspired by things such as life and people they look up to.

Recently, Drake took to Instagram to share that Fabulous inspired him as he was getting into his music career. The Canadian hitmaker wrote: ā€œwouldnā€™t be anywhere without this guyā€ real sh**t @myfaboulouslife, was really just taking in how much you influenced everything for me.ā€

However, this isnā€™t the first time Drake has given Fab his flowers. Over the years, Drizzy has saluted Fabulous for being influential in his style and work ethic, most notably the throwback jersey look that both rappers wear. Heā€™s even recreated one of Fabs jersey looks for his 2000ā€™s themed birthday party in 2018.

Since the early 2000s Drake has been known for his impeccable lyricism and R&B influences just like Fab who is known for his many hit songs where he channels his inner R&B . The two came together in 2009 to create the ā€œThrow it in the Bagā€ remix, even then fans could see Losoā€™s influence with the duo being dressed similarly in the video.

Since the beginning of his career, Fabulous has evolved in music, business and acting. He has had over 21 Hot 100 Billboard entries. In his 20 plus  year career many new talents have been seen to have Fabs influences but Drake is one of the first to publicly acknowledge him for being a big part in his career especially his beginning days.

While the duo has yet to come together again to release music together, some fans have been dying for them to create more music even before Drake’s recent statements.

By him giving such praises that is all the confirmation the two should need. Hopefully they come together for a joint project, which we all know Drake is great at doing. What do you guys think?
