Produced by Nick Mira, Thankyouwill, and Taz Taylor of Internet Money, the synthy, organ-heavy track finds Rich approaching the next phase of his career with vigilance, keeping a watchful eye on people who get too close: “I’m riding ‘round with a Glocky, watching my back, cause they tryna knock me.”
Shooting scenes from a bird’s eye view as Rich overlooks New York City from a high-rise to his gradual ascent on an elevator, the Declan Kyle-directed video is a depiction of the heights Rich aims to reach. Unphased by the haters and the doubters, Amiri is carving his own path to a bright future on his own time.
