EarthGang Drops Music Video For “Bobby Boucher” Paying Homage to The Waterboy

EarthGang unveiled their new single and music video “Bobby Boucher” featuring Benji. inspired by the cult-classic film The Waterboy. 

The parody music video takes its audience through EarthGang’s antics as football players in the world of Bobby Boucher, the title character from The Waterboy played by Adam Sandler, with a nod to college party culture.

The song incorporates a fusion of wind instrumentals, and hard studio beats, and Eian delivers the memorable line“Growing up, might need to be the villain”, referencing Bobby Boucher’s choice to join the rival team in the film. The carefree theme continues to present with admissions like, “I don’t think about much, I really just do sh*t,” highlighting their playful nature. The song concludes with a melody of percussion and flute blended with the hard-hitting base.

The video was filmed at North Clayton High School in Atlanta, GA, EarthGang’s hometown. The video opens with a news broadcast from the two artists before cutting to an active football game that includes rallying cheerleaders, an animated mascot and concerned mother figure among other memorable characters. The video then transitions to a post-game party featuring a beer bong, shots, water guns and more.
