Metro Boomin Launches ‘Leslie Joanne Single Moms Are Superheroes’ Grant Program Across 21 Markets on ‘We Trust You’ Tour’

Aug 1, 2024 ,

Metro Boomin embarked on the first two stops of his highly anticipated ‘We Trust You’ tour with Future at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City and St.Paul. Also making its first two stops in Kansas City and St.Paul was Metro Boomin’s Leslie Joanne Single Moms Are Superheroes grant-giving tour program, a national, multi-city initiative providing $20,000 grants and show tickets to selected single mother non-profit organizations in each market of the ‘We Trust You’ tour.

The first recipient of the $20,000 grant fund was Essential Families, a Kansas City-based organization and registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides crucial development services for children and families, along with support for women. The second grant recipient was the St. Paul-based based organization the ‘Jeremiah Program’, focused on providing assistance to single mothers and children facing poverty.

Both Essential Families and Jeremiah Program brought two single mothers, supported by the organization, and their children to enjoy the show. Kansas City attendees also got the chance to meet Mayor Pro Tem Ryana Parks-Shaw and Missouri State Senator Barbara Washington, who were in attendance for the occasion.

This ‘Leslie Joanne Single Moms Are Superheroes‘ national tour grant program is a continuation of Metro Boomin’s long-standing dedication to aiding and providing resources to single mothers across the nation, honoring the life of his own late single mother.

Metro Boomin launched his ‘Single Moms Are Superheroes’ initiative in 2017, hosting annual give-back activations.
