Kendrick Lamar Proves Once Again: “They Not Like Us” with Eight BET Hip Hop Award Wins

Kendrick Lamar has once again shown the world why ‘They Not Like Us.’ The West Coast icon dominated the BET Hip Hop Awards, walking away with eight awards and proving that his reign over the rap game remains supreme.

The annual event, which aired on Tuesday (Oct. 15), was held at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub in Las Vegas after being recorded on October 8. Although Lamar was not in attendance to receive his awards, his presence was definitely felt in the room.

The Compton native was nominated for 11 awards and took home eight, making him the most awarded artist this year. Lamar, who has had an MVP run in 2024, claimed multiple major honors.

With these wins, Kendrick Lamar has once again cemented his legacy as one of hip-hop’s greatest, leaving no doubt that “They Not Like Us” when it comes to the West Coast music scene.
