Los Angeles has a new voice carrying the torch for West Coast hip-hop, and his name is Zoe Osama. Fresh off the success of his breakout anthem Underrated—which recently went Gold—Zoe has returned with a powerful new album, Mr. Nobody. Sitting down “Live & Direct” with Chuck Dizzle, he explained why the title is both sarcastic and symbolic: “I’m somebody, but they act like I’m nobody. The numbers and stats prove otherwise.”
The 20-track project shows Zoe stepping outside his comfort zone, working with heavyweight collaborators like Ab-Soul, Jayson Cash, Kalan FrFr, and Cash Kidd, while still keeping his raw LA energy intact. Narrated by Watts Homie Quan, the album highlights Zoe’s ability to craft a cohesive story without losing the grit that made him stand out. Songs like “Crash Out,” “Princess Treatment,” and “I’m Him” showcase both his versatility and authenticity.
Beyond the music, Zoe reflected on the importance of trusting his team, crediting his manager Salis for helping elevate his sound. He also touched on the life lessons learned through navigating the industry, admitting that one of his biggest growth moments was simply learning to say no.
Family remains at the center of Zoe’s journey. He spoke candidly about balancing music and fatherhood, even recounting moments of putting his kids before a video shoot. His children not only know his music but proudly stream it on their own, a reminder of the legacy he’s building at home as well as in the streets.
With Mr. Nobody, Zoe Osama isn’t just proving himself to doubters—he’s solidifying his place in the next chapter of West Coast hip-hop. As he told Chuck, the work doesn’t stop here: “I can’t end the year without selling out a show.”
Stream Mr. Nobody now on all platforms and stay tuned—Zoe Osama is only getting started.
