On “GodLines” the Del Amo rapper leans into a sparse, gospel producting: echoing choirs, solemn piano notes and vocal samples. That sonic landscape perfectly frames the themes he explores struggle, reflection, faith and perseverance.
Lyrically, he’s unafraid to go deep. He raps about the battles he’s fought: coping mechanisms, toxic patterns, the weight of expectations, and those close to him who’ve stood by him through the toughest times. With completely raw thoughts and vulnerability, REASON shares it all.
The video comes as part of his latest burst of creativity alongside his project Everything In My Soul_BLUE.
