Returning to deploy the latest video from their recent mixtape, The Military, the LA rap quartet shares “Y’all Know Who Did That.”
The video for “Y’all Know Who Did That” takes viewers on a whimsically animated journey into the mixtape’s militaristic world of tanks, choppers, and humvees. The scene surrounding the crew depicts the aftermath rather than the action, as the desert floor is littered with crashed vehicles and spent artillery. As the video progresses, it becomes no more clear what happened there, but there’s no question as to who did it.
“Y’all Know Who Did That” finds 5Much, Top5ivee, EKillaOffDaBlocck, and P4K plotting how to leave their mark on the enemy over a sinister instrumental as they assert their status: “You a lil pup, get your rank up, I’m a big dog,” raps 5Much.
Released earlier this month, The Military refines the group’s hard-hitting West Coast sound, its glossy textures, funk-forward rhythms, and boosted bass adding emphasis to quartet’s raw lyricism.
