bbno$ & Diamond Pistols deliver some Friday morning bliss with their dreamy new single “Help Herself.”
bbno$ is most well known for his sharp, witty bars on hits like his 2X Platinum single “Lalala;” but, for “Help Herself,” he opts to take it slow.
The Vancouver born & bred rapper floats a melodic flow over Diamond Pistols’ delicate guitar lines and bedroom pop beat, as he paints the picture of a dysfunctional couple falling out of love. Although laidback and subtle, there’s something inherently catchy about “Help Herself” where I could listen to it on loop for hours and not even realize it.
If I could compare it, I would say there’s some Rex Orange County vibes going on here – it’s fresh and indie, but with a sharper kick drum and perfect for pretending you’re in a movie montage.
