Blxst’s “Overrated” has garnered over 12 million streams since its initial release back in August 2020.
The Los Angeles artist uses a classic Donell Jones sample in this self-produced track. Lyrically, Blxst wanted to share his perspective on loyalty over love.
“People really gravitated toward the record,” Blxst says. “A Black man speaking on love is kind of a rare thing right now, so I just want to be on the forefront of that.”
