Los Angeles natives, Roddy Ricch and Blxst are back at it again but this time, together in a music video. The duo just released the official music video for their collaboration, “Passionate”. This song is a single off Blsxt’s latest E.P. Just For Clarity 2.
The video opens with red sports cruising up a hill into a mansion, the screen then goes black. As the video transitions we see a colorful chalk outline that debuts the title of the video. Then we see both Roddy and Blxst in beautiful mansions and scenic overviews taking in all their success.
In the video there are different clips of Roddy placing chains around a little boy’s neck as he raps “And I hope he knows his daddy had a platinum run,” which this scene symbolizes his son. The two go back and forth singing the chorus “ I’ve Been too passionate remember days we wasn’t having sh***.”
We also see important moments in Blxt’s career such as clips from his sold-out tour. Once the video ends we see both Blxst and Roddy standing in a beautiful view proud of how far they’ve come and will continue to go.
