I remember circa 2008 being around the Top Dawg Camp often. I would be in the studio hanging out with them and G Malone as they would go through records, talk about plans and exchange stories of trips for shows which usually headlined Jay Rock who was the only major act at the time. Soul, like Kendrick; was humbly playing his part waiting for his chance to be a headliner and be known nationally. The YMF your was my first chance to get to see this dream come to reality for Herbert Anthony Stevens. The Carson native, who now gets praises from the likes of Eminem for his bars; now is rocking crowds nationwide and spectators are right there with him word for word. The energy that he and his hype man Doeburger bring along with DJ T1 make for a show that fans definitely feel satisfied with. As I walked out after the last song… fans still looked at the stage as they heard talking hoping there was more reason to stay! And with acts like Nick Grant and Little Sims opening up for the tour; that kind of quality music and energy is hard to ever let go! – @Devmatic
