Chino Cappin is building a devoted following with his honeyed tenor and raw lyricism. Coming through with a message for his fellow artists on the come-up, Chino shares “On My Last,” a new single.
Emoting over a trap-inflected flip of Fabolous’s 2003 hit “Can’t Let You Go,” Chino alternates heartfelt confessions (“I had some n****s I love try to finesse me”) with effortless flexes (“I been getting money, this sh*t bustin’ out my pants too/I’m Michael Jackson moonwalkin’, I’m a bad dude”) in a smoothly melodic pattern.
“On My Last” follows the Alamo Records signee’s recent video for “Shine,” which you can watch here.
