Tupac Shakur had dreams of doing many other great things to make a difference before he passed away in ’96. He’d hope to dive into politics, real estate, write an autobiography and cookbook, and even open up a restaurant serving dishes from the book.
The Sweet Chick Cafe in NYC, co-owned by Nas, took to grant one of Shakur’s wishes for a weekend. The restaurant centered the menu around a page of notes he left behind: a detailed business plan for the establishment.
Genuis’ own Letty Martinez was there as a witness and got the chance to talk to the some of the decision makers of the pop-up shop.
