In just its third year, Sueños Music Festival has become an institution in its home city of Chicago, bringing the best in Reggaeton and Latin Music to the city each summer.
Topping the bill is Shakira, the iconic Colombian singer and trailblazer of Latin Pop, along with Don Omar, the legendary reggaeton veteran and global hitmaker. As announced this fall, Mexican music’s biggest star Peso Pluma will perform on Saturday, armed with his deep, multi-genre catalog of bangers. Hitmaking Tejano troubadours Grupo Frontera make their Sueños debut, performing a Special Set on Festival Sunday.
Joining these A-Listers is an undercard full of some of Latin music’s most popular and influential names. Reggaeton legends Wisin and Arcangel return to the festival, bringing multiple decades’ worth of hit songs, along with modern stars like Jhayco and Dei V and rapid risers like and Omar Courtz. Argentine pop star Maria Becerra and Colombian singer Kapo provide tunes for the community’s Latin pop stans. As always, Sueños offers an array of talent from Mexico, including red hot corridors Tito Double P and Oscar Maydon, and rising rappers Bellakath and Nsqk. For the first time, Sueños also branches out into EDM, recruiting Latino DJs Gordo and Deorro to pump up the crowd.
The sold-out third edition of Sueños Festival is a testament to the passionate community of Latin music fans the festival built in a short time. The upcoming 2025 edition of the festival should be the most exciting one yet, with several first time performances and plenty of surprises in store.
