It’s rare that we get artists dropping their instrumentals as a project for fans, but for IDK, it’s another unique move on his resume.
The Maryland rapper dropped his second album USEE4YOURSELF early this month and didn’t stop there, as he decided to add the instrumentals from his entire album to the original album.
On July 15, IDK took to Twitter to share that he would be releasing all the instrumentals to his USEE4YOURSELF tracks at midnight.
“Releasing all the instrumentals from USEE4YOURSELF at midnight est,” the tweet read.
The original released album featured 17 songs with many collaborators including Young Thug, Offset, MF DOOM, Jay Electronica, Westside Gunn, SiR, Swae Lee, Rico Nasty, Lucky Daye, Slick Rick, and Sevyn Streeter. Now, the USEE4YOURSELF album includes the complete list of instrumentals added onto it, making it a 34 song tracklist.
It’s not clear why IDK chose to drop the instrumentals, but it’s a plus for artists who want to create their own bars over it or fans to enjoy the dope beats.
USEE4YOURSELF can be found on all streaming platforms. Check out the instrumental for the single “Santa Monica Blvd” below.
