The Los Angeles Dodgers will take the field today for the start of their playoff run against the New York Mets and all eyes will be on Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw the leagues best pitcher, enters the game after notching 300 strikeouts on the season and the first to accomplish this since 2002. We know how great Kershaw is in the regular season but we now need him to be great in the postseason. The last two seasons Kershaw and the Dodgers haven been eliminated by the St. Louis Cardinals and some of the blame has gone to Kershaw. Against the Cardinals Kershaw has gone 0-4 in postseason play and will look to turn things around today against the Mets. If the Dodgers are to advance in the playoffs it will have to ride the arm of Kershaw and game 2 starter Zack Greinke.
