Baja Beach Fest ’25 Day 1 Recap: J Balvin, Young Miko, Tito Double P & More Lights Up Rosarito Beach

Baja Beach Fest’s evolution to the premier showcase for Latin Music and Reggaeton has coincided with a major boost in popularity of styles from its home nation of Mexico.

On Saturday, Baja Beach Fest 2025 brought one of the artists most responsible for that boom to the stage on the beaches of Rosarito: J Balvin. The Colombia reggaeton singer commanded the stage with an electrifying presence, setting the tone for what festival goers with his hits “La Gente,” “Que Calor,” and “La Cancion,” to name a few. El Alfa crashed Balvin’s set, delivering a surprise cameo that elevated the energy to another level.

Tito Double P flipped the script with show stopping moments. Inviting Gabito Ballesteros for “7 Días” and “Perlas Negras,” then teaming with Armenta for “Tussi.” Anitta made her BBF debut and representing Brazilian energy on the Rosarito stage.
