It’s as if the young Simba, J. Cole manifested his encounter with Danielle Fishel, better known as Topanga Lawrence from the 90’s hit series Boy Meets World, back in 2013 on his “Villuminati” track, which left him finding the real Topanga.

“And who can blame ya,” Cole raps in his verse. “Boy Meets World, I’m tryna find a new Topanga/ And bang her out, no hanging out.”

The actress and rapper ran into each other backstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Sept. 22, where Fisher was stunned to see the “Middle Child” rapper.

In the video, Fishel was walking backstage when someone mentioned that Cole was coming. The director excitedly grabbed onto the person next to her and said, “It Is J. Cole!” She then walked up to The Off-Season artist to introduce herself and expressed how big of a fan she is.

“I have to say hi to you. I went and saw your show in L.A. Unbelievable! I’m such a big fan,” she shared with the Dreamville founder.

The two had a sweet moment while they acknowledged their admiration for each other and thanked one another.

The North Carolina native attended the iHeartRadio festival as a special guest for Lil Durk, where they performed their latest hit, “All My Life” live for the first time. The track reached top of the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 2 and has been fans’ favorite.
