Earlier this year, West Coast rapper Jay Rock captioned an Instagram post with the “shushing face” (🤫) emoji and it left his fans wondering what it meant. His comment section started to flood with hundreds of comments hoping it would be a new album.
Today (June 22), six months later, Jay Rock confirmed the mystery behind that post was in fact new music. His highly anticipated album “Eastside” will be released next Tuesday. (June 27). Jay Rock tweeted a link on his Twitter account announcing to pre-save the album on Spotify and Apple Music.
This album comes five years after his latest album “Redemption” was released back in 2018.
