On Wednesday night, six-time GRAMMY™ nominated singer, songwriter, poet and mother of two, Jhené Aiko, kicked off her “Magic Hour Tour” with an unforgettable, enchanting performance at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
The concert marks the beginning of her first headlining arena tour in six years. Aiko will be embarking on a 27-city summer trek to arenas across the continent, kicking off with this one in Detroit, through August. The tour will touch down in major cities like Los Angeles, Houston, and Chicago, culminating for a grand finale in Columbus, Ohio.
The show was filled with captivating visuals featuring an ethereal set design that transported the audience to a galactic realm adorned with sparkling crystals and vibrant lights. During the show, Aiko took to the stage for a performance that blended timeless fan favorites and new tracks, including “Sativa,” “While We’re Young,” and “B.S.” from her three time Grammy-nominated hit album “Chimbolo,” which received critical acclaim.
Later that night, Aiko was joined onstage by her sister and fellow singer, Mila J for an electrifying joint performance of the iconic “P*$$Y FAIRY (OTW)” and Mila’s songs, “Kickin’ Back” and “My Main.”
