Kendrick Lamar’s long-awaited album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is officially here and Hip-hop heads are hyped about it.
Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is Compton native’s last album under TDE and was welcomed by fans with crashing streaming platforms like Apple Music. Kendrick also had fans eager to see who would be on the tracklist, but it was not released until the album dropped.
The 18-track album features several artists like Blxst, Amanda Reifer, Sampha, Taylour Paige, Summer Walker, Ghostface Killah, Kodak Black, Baby Keem, Sam Dew, Tanna Leone and Beth Gibbons.
To prepare for the release of Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, Kendrick dropped the “The Heart Part 5,” which is the fifth installment of the track. The visual highlighted five perspectives of OJ Simpson, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle as K.Dot’s face changed to each of them while he rapped in their point-of-view.
“I completed my mission, wasn’t ready to leave,” he raps from Nip’s perspective. “But fulfilled my days, my Creator was pleased/I can’t stress how I love y’all/I don’t need to be in flesh just to hug y’all/The memories recollect just because y’all/Celebrate me with respect/The unity we protect is above all.”
You can watch the official video for “The Heart Part 5” below. Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is currently out on all streaming platforms.
