Kid Cudi fans are kicking off their week with some bittersweet news.

The bitter part: the Cleveland artist took to Twitter on Monday (Sep. 4) to announce that the release of his upcoming album INSANO would be delayed because he wants to “present it in the best way.” The album, which was originally slated to drop on Sep. 15, will be dropping in January of next year.

The sweet part: because of the delay, Cudi released two new singles from the album on SoundCloud.

The two songs, MOST AIN’T DENNIS and ILL WHAT I BLEED, are produced by BNYX, a Pennsylvania producer known for his work with the likes of Yeat, Lil Uzi Vert and more.

MOST AIN’T DENNIS is an energetic song featuring ambient talking synths and Cudi’s classic singing that has fans on SoundCloud saying, “rage is coming back.”

ILL WHAT I BLEED is a melodic song where Cudi shares lyrics about surviving life’s trials over heavy drums contrasted by a soft vintage tape effect.

“These songs are some of my favorite on the album and I really think you’ll dig them,” Cudi shared in the post announcing the album delay. “I’m sorry for the delay everybody, but I’m a perfectionist.”

Are you excited for INSANO?
