Recap: LA Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma & Detroit Pistons’ Andre Drummond Square Off At The 50k Charity Celebrity Basketball Game

The inaugural $50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game hit the hardwood at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on Tuesday, July 17. Presented by the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour and Live Nation, this special event raisde money and awareness for multiple charities in addition to the host beneficiary, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend’s WHO Cares initiative Teen Cancer America.

A broad blend of world-class athletes to artists, actors, and celebrities joined coaches Kyle Kuzma from Los Angeles Lakers and Andre Drummond from the Detroit Pistons.

“I’m excited to be a part of this special event along with many other athletes and entertainers whom are all giving back for a great cause, especially here in LA,” said Kyle Kuzma. “I look forward to seeing a lot of Laker Nation come out and represent.”

Along with halftime music performances by Tyga, who brought out special guest, Iggy Azalea, the $50K Charity Challenge was one for the books with celebrity commentator Peter Rosenberg from Hot 97 and ESPN.
