League & Two Time are back again with a brand new single titled “The Detox” featuring fellow Inglewood artist King Riko produced by Moskito. Popular Comedian and Wild ‘N Out cast member Teddy Ray provides the intro to the song as he does a hilarious routine about a mother wanting to smoke in front of her child and how toxic she is.
The song then goes into the incredibly infectious chorus as the duo does a duet, blending their voices so they become one baritone instrument. Both Two and League maintain the chill vibe of the chorus throughout their verses meanwhile explaining toxic situations and how they avoid them. King Riko is a pleasant switch up as he assists with singing a bridge and crooning on the third verse sounding like LA’s answer to Young Thug with his experimental vocal cadences and pitches.
League and Two are continuing to be one of LA’s best duos with their consistent output rivaling that of BlueBucksClan and Bino Rideaux in terms of output and quality. Buddha League 2, their forthcoming project is quickly approaching it’s release date and will prove they are a top tier tandem on the west coast.
