It feels like a year since we’ve seen the arrival of new music from Lupe Fiasco…that’s because his last project, Drogas Light, dropped in February 2017. But, he hasn’t been completely out of the loop, as he has been using social media, i.e. Twitter, to keep listeners engaged with smaller increments of his music.
Last night, continuing this trend of his, he tweeted out a two-minute track called “Harold’s”; the song is in honor of a chicken shack in Chicago (cue Kanye West, “I’m talkin’ about Chi-town) and also a birthday gift for one of his “brothers” Huggy Bear.
Check out the tweet below to listen to “Harold’s”…and maybe, we will be hearing more from Lupe Fiasco in the future.
Happy Birthday To My Real Brothers Harold “Huggy Bear” Perkins…this one dedicated to you big bro! Love 🙏🏾 couldn’t find a gift so I figured I bring you back to the crib one time…
