On Saturday, May 6th, the Lovers & Friends festival packed in dozens of performances, bringing in respected OGs in rap, hip-hop and r&b to the Las Vegas Festival Ground for an unforgettable day.
The festival had a special vibe from start to finish, with thousands of fans vibing out to some of their favorite soundtracks from the 1990s and 2000s. With over 45 acts in four music stages, the Lovers & Friends festival featured a little bit of everything.
Missy Elliott performed her fan-favorite hits and brought out special guests like Monica. Usher brought the house down with his usual energy and dance moves. He brought out Da Brat, Muni Long, Ari Lennox, Jermaine Duper and Summer Walker.
Chris Brown was one of the weekend’s most talked about artists, performing and dancing just like he knows how. He brought out J-Kown and Bow Wow during his set.
Mariah Carey showcased her iconic vocals and she performed in a black and gold sparkly dress. Despite only performing for 15 minutes because she was fashionably late, the diva performed some of best songs with special guests, Miguel and Boyz II Men.
Earlier in the day, fans enjoyed historic performances from some of the most exciting names in the genre, including Nelly, JoJo, Pitbull, Lil Kim, Buster Rhymes, Sean Paul, NORE, Eve, Christina Aguilera, Lil Rob and so many more. Fans eagerly awaited for 50 Cent and once he hit the stage, the energy erupted as he performed some of his hit songs off his 2003 album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
It’s safe to say Lovers & Friends is one of the most anticipated events in Las Vegas. Each year, the festival attracts tens of thousands of people from all over the world. It is the perfect event for you if you’re looking for a fun-filled weekend filled with great music and good vibes.
The Lovers. & Friends festival is now considered one of the premier music festivals, showcasing some of the biggest names in music. In addition to the music, there are art installations, food trucks, and other activities to keep attendees entertained throughout the day.
