It’s been about 3 years since we heard a full-length Mista Clean project. With his last album, Lucidity (2020), he gave us the hit single “Swing Low”, and before that, previously released tracks like “The Introduction”, “Take 2 (Corner Store Demo)” and the EP Internal Growth (2018).
Today, he dropped his long-awaited album, Connected. The Long Beach rapper shared with fans his excitement about the new release on Twitter saying, “Add that for yo morning drive!! OUT NOW!!” Mista’s flow and classic G-Funk sound is like butter over beats by Executive Producer ANTDAWG. The eight-song project features the single “What It Is,” which dropped in August 2022 plus two bonus tracks including the “What It Is” remix featuring KB Devaughn and “Take It” (produced by J Boi).
