NLE Choppa is honoring his late child in a special way that many parents can reflect on.
The rapper released a touching single titled “The Gender Reveal Song,” which is a tribute to his late child, that recently passed unexpectedly.
“The Gender Reveal Song” focuses on the many milestones parents may think of when they find out they’re pregnant. He highlights the important conversations one would have with their sons or daughters and expresses to love either gender, as they’re blessings.
The rapper took to social media to share the meaning behind it and the sad news he and his partner experienced with their child.
“The first gender reveal I was a part of ever was one to remember,” he wrote. “God blessed me with a baby boy[,]but a few months later decided to turn him into a[n] angel to watch over me and my partner[,] which is understandable, respectable, and a beautiful hurt.”
