Poodeezy drop his new EP “Trap Native 2”. Listening to the album takes you on a spiritual and complex road with his sultry sound and harsh reality of this world we live in today. He starts off high with “Gang” the more rough side and ends with No Obstacle Ft. Preston Harris which is showing his growth from boy to man. Proving to everyone and himself that there isn’t any obstacle that can hold him back. But the one song that stood out from the entire album was “Addiction” where he is describing a on going problem that is detrimental to the black community. Poodeezy talks about drinking, drugs, and depression and how all these things can be addicting, but no one wants to speak on it.
Poodezzy has not a new style of writing his rhymes, but more of a classic cause or call for awareness in the minority and especially the black community that needs to know how to stand together and stand our ground like he expresses in “Gang” and “I Thought i Told You”. And ends it off with “No Obstacle” showing his growth through his music and personal life and wants others to move pass there past and failures. And he was able to express himself and his journey within 14 minutes.
