There’s no music festival like SueƱos in Grant Park, Chicago and it shows!

Since 2022,Ā SueƱos Music FestivalĀ has been kicking off summertime in Chicago with performances by many of the biggest stars in Latin Music. The festival returned on a glorious and sunny Saturday, May 25 as the sold out crowd settled in for performances by over a dozen artists from across Latin America.

Before Rauw came a scintillating performance from Young Miko, the Puerto Rican rapper who is one of the island’s fastest-rising stars. After performing early in the day at SueƱos 2023, the 26-year-old artist stunned in the penultimate slot, radiating an uncommon swag as she performed hit songs like “Classy 101” and highlights from her new album att. She also electrified the crowd by bringing out Spanish songstress Badgyal for their collaborative single, “Chulo Pt. 2.”

The festival’s first day was a showcase for Mexican music, featuring scintillating sets from stars who have scored chart-topping hits before exiting their teens. Riverside, CA heartthrob Ivan Cornejo serenaded the crowd as the sun began to set, moving fans to tears with his heartfelt corridos. Earlier in the day, rising hitmaker Xavi performed at his first-ever music festival, unleashing Billboard Hot 100-charting hits like “La Diabla” and “La VĆctima.” Three-man Mexican group LATIN MAFIA showcased a different side of Mexican music, performing their melodic, mutating, crossover bangers for the receptive crowd.
